All this image needs is a photo of me walking across this jagged line like a tightrope.
Life has been, shall we say, fluid these past few weeks, with the goal of moving into a new home taking up more and more time previously dedicated to health and fitness…
Mine and the business of helping great people with theirs through Fernandes Fit.
There hasn’t been as much time for all the things that matter most to me. But that doesn’t mean I toss my hands in the air and say…
“What’s the point of doing this at all?”
Instead, I’ve done my best, which has looked decidedly different from one day to the next. Some days have been better than others.
But they have all been good in their own way…
Because I did the work as best as I could each day.
Progress, not perfection. That’s the goal.
Just because what you did today didn’t measure up to the level you expect of yourself every day doesn’t mean all hope is lost.
It means doing the best you can, because that moves the needle forward, and then focus on doing at least a little better tomorrow.
